Vikas Ahuja

Vikas Ahuja has over twenty years of work experience in various positions within the finance industry. VIKAS currently holds the position of Senior Vice President- Credit at Aavas Financiers Ltd, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President- Credit at the same company from July 2018 to April 2021.

Before joining Aavas Financiers Ltd, Ahuja was the National Credit Manager- Credit & Ops at New Habitat Housing Finance and Development Limited from November 2014 to July 2018. VIKAS also worked as a Cluster Manager at Au Housing Finance Limited from February 2013 to November 2014 and as an Assistant Vice President at Habitat Housing Finance Limited from November 2011 to February 2013.

Ahuja began their career at Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Limited in September 2007, where they held the position of Corporate Credit Head- Non Housing Loans. VIKAS also took on additional responsibilities as AGM-Credit & Process and handled profiles of Branch Operations Manager and Regional Credit Head.

Prior to Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Limited, Ahuja worked as a Manager at ICICI Bank Limited from October 2005 to September 2007. VIKAS also gained valuable experience as a Junior Manager (Assistant Accounts Officer) at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop Ltd. from May 2004 to October 2005, and as an Assistant Manager at Reliance Energy Limited in 2004.

Ahuja's career started with professional training at Bansal & Company, Chartered Accountants, from August 1998 to August 2001. During their training, they worked on various assignments including statutory audits for clients such as Usha India Limited and Malvika Steels Limited.

Vikas Ahuja completed their Chartered Accountancy degree with a focus on Finance & Taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, attending from 1998 to 2003. VIKAS then pursued a B Com (Honours) degree in Finance & Taxation from Delhi University, graduating from 1995 to 1998. In 2023 to 2024, they plan to attend the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad to obtain a Certification in Leadership Development.
