Denise Elliott-Bourdeaux

Denise Bourdeaux, MBA, CPRW, serves as the Workforce Development Manager for Targeted Populations at Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp. since July 2021, overseeing a team of Career Coaches and Job Developers to support career services for residents and businesses. Previous roles at AAWDC include managing the Impacted Workers Support Fund and Veteran Services, as well as serving as Workforce Development Manager for military populations, where responsibilities involved assisting transitioning service members and veterans in Maryland with employment-related services. Denise's earlier experience includes positions as a Career Counselor for the Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance Program and various educational roles, including Math Teacher and Adjunct Math Instructor. Denise holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from Liberty University and a BS in Chemistry from Jackson State University.
