Julie Smith

Julie is Development Manager at Ab Biotechnology Ltd. Julie holds responsibility for all activities within early stage development to pre-manufacturing process and Assay Development. Julie holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow and has over 20 years of experience working within the Biotechnology sector. Julie has worked at the Hannah Research Institute where she was responsible for the purification of key milk proteins, Viragen Scotland (Ltd) where she developed purification platforms for a number of antibodies and cytokines for cancer therapeutics, and Angel Biotechnology plc where she was responsible for process development and technical transfer of client antibody and recombinant protein products into GMP.
