Fumiki Aoki

Fumiki Aoki has a diverse work experience in the nutrition and pharmaceutical industry. Fumiki started their career as an Assistant Manager at Meiji Dairies Corporation in 2001, where they worked for two years. Fumiki then joined Kaneka Corporation in 2003 and held roles as Assistant Manager for research in branded herbal extract for the Nutraceutical market and later as a product/business developer for Nutraceutical ingredients.

In 2008, Aoki moved to Kaneka North America LLC (previously known as Kaneka Nutrients LP) as a Senior Scientist. In this role, they led new product development projects, conducted co-development projects, and provided technical services for products such as CoQ10/Ubiquinol.

In 2016, Aoki became an expat in the USA, working for Kaneka Corporation. Fumiki served as the Manager of the Nutrition Strategic Unit, where they were responsible for project management, creating opportunities for alliances and collaborations with third parties in the Nutraceutical field, primarily in the US. This role involved technical and market evaluations, strategy planning, and facilitating board members' decisions.

In 2018, Aoki transitioned to Kaneka Americas Holdings as the Director of Business Development for Probiotics. Fumiki played a crucial role in driving business growth and development in the probiotics industry until July 2022.

Most recently, Aoki joined AB-BIOTICS in 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer.

Fumiki Aoki obtained a PhD in Biochemistry, Nutrition, and Animal nutrition from Kyoto University, where they studied from 1994 to 2001.
