Denise Amado is a seasoned professional in project engineering and property management, currently serving as a Sr. Project Engineer at A&B Construction since December 2022. Previously, Denise held the role of Project Engineer I Takeoff Specialist at AB and worked as a Project Engineer at Underground Construction Co., Inc. Before transitioning to project engineering, Denise was a Property Manager at Holland Residential, where responsibilities included overseeing community operations, financial reporting, and staff development. Denise began their career in property management and retail as a Sales Associate at Alliance Residential Company. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University, earned between 2018 and 2020.

Established in 1991, A&B Construction provides construction services for high profile projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our services include demolition, mass excavation, structural excavation, utilities, grading and paving. We also help our clients with pre-construction services including investigative potholing, archaeological excavation, site clearing and storm water pollution prevention. Our goal is to deliver a high quality service, safely and on schedule. We succeed because we have an experienced team. We employ union laborers and operators. We have long established partnerships with many Local Business Enterprises (LBE) and the San Francisco City Build Program. We believe in supporting the communities where we work and live. We approach each client as a long-term partner. Our clients include the City of San Francisco, San Francisco & Oakland International Airports, BART, UC Berkeley, Stanford University and many private owners and General Contractors. Some of our recent projects include San Francisco General Hospital, 41 Tehama Street, The Exchange at Block 40, UCSF at Parnassus and the Salesforce Tower.
