Adel Korkor MD is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in founding and leading healthcare organizations. Since February 2007, Adel Korkor has served as the Founder and CEO of ABK Medical Inc and AngioExpand, contributing to medical device innovation. In addition, since May 2016, Adel Korkor has also led the AB Korkor Foundation for Mental Health, focusing on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting physical wellness in relation to mental health issues. Previously, from August 1987 to December 2018, Adel Korkor founded and served as CEO of NEPHROLOGY ASSOCIATES, a practice dedicated to renal diseases and hypertension, and established Purity Dialysis Centers from August 1990 to June 2017, delivering dialysis services throughout Southeast Wisconsin.

One in five adults in the United States is diagnosed with a mental illness - that’s over 65 million people! Over half of those individuals don’t receive care. We’re on a mission to increase awareness surrounding the prevalence of mental health diagnoses, and the staggering difficulties that individuals face navigating mental health care in this country. From affordable and accessible care to removing the stigma, we’re partnering with other mental health organizations to provide advocacy, education and research funding. Our mental health and our physical health are connected, so let’s make the world a better place for those suffering with mental illnesses!
