Alberto Pou Quirós

Alberto Pou Quirós has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2014. In that year, they began as a software developer at Txerpa, where they worked for two years. In 2016, they worked as a research student at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where they improved their knowledge in machine learning algorithms and programming technologies. In 2018, they worked at Txerpa Gestoría Online as a data scientist and backend developer, where they were involved in the transformation of the system to AWS. In 2019, they worked at Roiback as a backend developer, developing new features, refactoring legacy code, and integrating payment gateways into the system. In 2020, they worked at Skioo as a fullstack developer, where they maintained the backend, implemented a cashbacks system, redesigned the mobile app, and developed a fraud detection system. Currently, they are working at Abacum as a backend developer.

Alberto Pou Quirós completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat de les Illes Balears from 2011 to 2015.
