Javier Jiménez Villarreal

Javier Jiménez Villarreal has worked in the software engineering industry since 2008. In 2008, they began working as a Full Stack Developer for Kings of Mambo. During this time, they worked side by side with graphical designers and clients to develop websites for clients such as a TV channel, bank, architecture firm, and artistic agency. Javier was also involved in an award winning website design for children. In 2011, they began working at Pagantis as an Engineering Manager, Frontend Tech Lead, and Full Stack Engineer. During their time there, they worked with various technologies such as Rails, Erlang, Java, jQuery, NodeJS, MongoDB, and MySQL. In 2020, they started working as a Senior Software Engineer for Abacum.

Javier Jiménez Villarreal completed a M.Sc in Interactive Systems Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2011. Prior to this, they obtained a B.Sc in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2004 and 2008.
