Matthew Chang

Matthew Chang has over ten years of experience in software engineering. In 2009, they began their career as an intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they worked on verifying a new data stream and learning the AWK programming language. The following year, they interned at Jana, where they developed a reporting system for displaying data and worked on an internal dashboard. In 2012, they returned to Jana as an intern, where they helped bring a prototype app to production ready. In 2017, Matthew joined Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked on a secret project to unify and simplify development paradigms and enable greater developer velocity. In 2018, they joined Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where they worked on a new initiative to bring Fusion Applications to modern infrastructure. In 2019, Matthew joined Abacus.AI - Formerly RealityEngines.AI as a Software Engineer.

Matthew Chang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
