Thodoris Petropoulos (Theo)

Theo Petropoulos has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Thodoris started as Sponsorships Director at TEDxUPatras in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Analytical View. In 2019, they moved to DataRobot, where they worked as Pre-Sales Data Scientist and Senior Pre-Sales Data Scientist. In 2021, they joined Big Blue Data Academy as a Data Science Instructor. Currently, they are the Director of Data Science at Abacus.AI.

Theo Petropoulos is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Big Data and Business Strategy at the Athens University of Economics and Business, which they began in 2019. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Management Science & Technology from the same institution between 2016 and 2018. Thodoris also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Patras, which they obtained between 2011 and 2016. In addition, Theo has obtained various certifications, such as DataRobot Essentials and DataRobot Time Series Certification (2019), Functional Programming Principles in Scala (2019), SAP Next Gen (2018), Data-driven Decision Making (2018), Problem Solving with Excel (2018), Applied Machine Learning in Python (2017), Hadoop Platform and Application Framework (2017), and The R Programming Environment (2017). Thodoris also holds certifications from Software AG and Google.
