Dana Taylor

Dana Taylor has over four years of work experience. Dana started their career in 2015 as an Information Technology Intern at Network Performance Inc. (NPI), where they assisted technicians in their day-to-day tasks and traveled to client sites to install new network hardware and troubleshoot connectivity issues. In 2016, they worked as an Information Technology Intern at Select Design, where they administered a network of 70+ OSX clients, troubleshooted infrastructure connectivity issues, and managed internal services. In 2017, they joined EF Education First as a Security Engineer, where they owned the planning and deployment of new security tools across on-premise and AWS environments, developed a security monitoring program utilizing dozens of machine data sources in Splunk, and consulted with developers to build security into new systems. Currently, Dana is a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Abacus Insights.

Dana Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking & Cybersecurity, with a Digital Forensics Minor from Champlain College in 2017. Dana also holds certifications from Splunk (Splunk Certified Admin, obtained in February 2018), Amazon Web Services (AWS Cloud Practitioner, obtained in August 2019), and Microsoft (Azure Security Engineer Associate, obtained in August 2021).
