Jeff Zhou

Jeff (Zhe) Zhou has had a varied career in engineering and software development. Jeff (Zhe) began their career in 2006 as a Ph.D student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cisco Systems. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Verizon Telecom as a Network Integration Engineer and at Verizon Terremark as a Principal Member of Technical Staff. In 2011, they joined VMware as a Member Technical Staff III, and in 2015 they became a Principal Software Engineer / Team Lead at CloudHealth by VMware. In 2018, they were promoted to Staff Engineer II / Tech Lead at VMware. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Director of Engineering at Abacus Insights.

Jeff (Zhe) Zhou attended Hunan University from 1998 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor and Master of Engineering in Computer Science. Jeff (Zhe) has also completed courses through novoed.
