Seffie Allen

Seffie Allen has worked in the technology industry since 2017. In their current role as Senior Software Engineer - DevOps at Abacus Insights, they have used Gitlab CI to develop reference implementations for deployment stages for Helm (Helmsman) and Serverless applications to deploy to EKS clusters. Seffie has also undertaken a large-scale refactor of the platform to separate Kubernetes and Helm Providers from Terraform, and gained experience in Secrets Management. Additionally, they have worked with the Datadog monitoring platform to expand their use of the tool, and gained familiarity with the benefits of Helm Charts by automating the deployment from YAML manifests to Helm Charts. Prior to this role, Seffie worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at iHeartMedia.

Seffie Allen attended James Madison University from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Piano Performance.
