Tom Gregory

Tom Gregory has been working in the IT field since 2005. Tom began their career as a Regional Desktop and Applications Support at Chittenden Bank. In 2007, they moved to Harvard University as a Windows Server Administrator and Sr. Helpdesk & Desktop Support Technician. In 2013, they joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Windows Infrastructure Engineer and later became a DevOps Engineer. In 2015, they worked as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at Ipsen. In 2019, they joined Cerbo IO as a Principal Cloud Security Architect. Currently, they are a Principal Cloud Security Architect at Abacus Insights, where they are responsible for designing and building secure architectures for cloud services and offerings, managing incident response and threat hunt capabilities, and reviewing and testing tooling.

Tom Gregory received their Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Harvard Extension School in 2014. Prior to that, they attended University of New Hampshire from 2002 to 2004. In addition, they have obtained four certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in February 2019, Amazon Web Services Security Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2019, and SCRUM Master from Scrum, Inc.
