Jonathan Cartagena

Jonathan Cartagena has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Jonathan most recently worked at Abacus Group as the Manager of Enterprise Integration, where they began in January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Integration Engineer at Abacus Group from March 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining Abacus Group, Jonathan worked at ATSG as a Solutions Architect from August 2019 to February 2020 and as a Systems Engineer from August 2018 to July 2019.

Jonathan also gained experience at The TNS Group as an IT Project Engineer from July 2014 to July 2018, at Constructure Technologies as a Level III Computer/Network Engineer from November 2012 to June 2014, and at Proactive Technologies as a Technical Account Manager from November 2011 to October 2012 and as a Field Engineer from August 2010 to October 2011.

Jonathan began their career at ITelagen as an IT Specialist from October 2008 to July 2010 and further worked at Priority Partners as an IT Manager from November 2007 to August 2008.

Their earliest roles were at Special Olympics International, where they served as a Network Administrator from July 2006 to October 2007 and as a Helpdesk Specialist from July 2006 to January 2007. Overall, Jonathan has a diverse background in IT with a range of technical and managerial positions throughout their career.

Jonathan Cartagena obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 2004 from Williams College. Their field of study during their time at Williams College was Anthropology. In terms of certifications, Jonathan has obtained various certifications from different institutions. In 2014, they became a Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization and acquired the Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization accreditation. In the same year, they also obtained the VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization certification. In 2015, Jonathan obtained the Equallogic PS Series Arrary Configuration Operations and Management certification from Dell. In 2016, they became a Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA - N) and achieved the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization certification. In 2017, they obtained the Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications. Finally, in 2019, Jonathan acquired the Citrix certified Associate - Networking (CCA-N) certification. Furthermore, in December 2022, they are expected to receive the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
