Jonathan Shapiro

Jonathan Shapiro has a strong background in sales and business development within the financial industry. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Abacus Group since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of North America Alternative Sales at Broadridge Financial Solutions from March 2020 to March 2023. Before that, they were the Head of Sales for SS&C Technologies' Distribution, Consulting, Compliance, and Digital business from December 2018 to March 2020. Jonathan also has experience as the Senior Director and Head of Sales and Relationship Management at Gravitas, a leading outsourcing partner for the alternative investment space, from November 2015 to December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive at SunGard from April 2014 to November 2015, and as a Vice President of Enhanced Custody Sales at State Street from August 2011 to April 2014. Jonathan's career also includes roles as a Vice President of Prime Brokerage Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from September 2010 to July 2011, as a Vice President and Relationship Manager in Prime Brokerage at Goldman Sachs from September 2004 to March 2010, and as an Associate in Alternative Investments at BNP Paribas from February 2004 to September 2004. Jonathan began their career at US Clearing, a Division of Fleet Securities, where they completed a management training program and became a Supervisor of Brokerage Operations from July 2001 to January 2004.

Jonathan Shapiro earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University at Albany, SUNY. Jonathan attended the university from 1996 to 2001.
