Julian Barahona

Julian Barahona has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Julian began their professional journey in 2013, working as a Barista at Dunkin Donuts. In the same year, they also joined PFS Investments as a Life Insurance Agent.

In 2015, Julian joined Guitar Center as a Senior Sales Associate, where they honed their skills in customer service, sales, and training new hires. Julian excelled in providing customers with personalized recommendations, troubleshooting equipment, and achieving sales metrics.

Julian transitioned to the tech industry in 2020, joining Abacus Group as a Computer Build Technician. In this role, they built and deployed desktops and laptops for clients, handled software configurations, and performed hardware installations. Julian also gained experience in creating machine images for redeployment and optimizing workflows.

Julian quickly advanced within Abacus Group, taking on additional responsibilities. Julian became the Team Lead - Computer Build Technician, leading and training a team on technology usage and managing ticket assignments. Julian collaborated with other teams to automate processes and improve productivity.

Julian's most recent position at Abacus Group was as a Client Technology Specialist, where they provided technical support and expertise to clients. Julian ensured the smooth operation of client technologies and was responsible for managing tickets and documentation.

Throughout their career, Julian has demonstrated adaptability, technical proficiency, strong leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. Julian'sextensive experience in both sales and technology makes him a valuable asset in any industry.

Julian Barahona began their education at Beach Channel High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Julian then attended CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2017 to 2019, earning an Associate's degree in computer information systems.
