Richard Yu

Richard Yu is the co-founder and CEO of Abalone Bio. Richard has over 25 years of experience in the biotech industry, starting as a research associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs and working their way up to their current position. Richard has a PhD in molecular biophysics from Yale University and did postdoctoral work at UC Berkeley. Richard has also co-founded two other companies, Green Pacific Biologicals and Radiant Genomics. In their free time, they enjoy hiking and spending time with their family.

Richard Yu received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. Richard also holds a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology (emph. Biophysics) and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
