Ravi Kannan

Ravi Kannan has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and cross-border acquisitions. As the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Planning at Aban Offshore Ltd since October 2007, Ravi Kannan manages a debt portfolio of USD 2.4 billion across 18 banks and engages with equity analysts. Prior to this role, Ravi Kannan served as Senior Manager of Finance at Sakthi Sugars Limited, contributing significantly to the company's funding strategy. Early career experiences include positions as Accounts Executive at PS Electricals and as an Articled Student at Gowrisankar & Co. Ravi Kannan holds a BSc in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University, completed in 1987.
