Sourirajan Srinivasan

Sourirajan Srinivasan has extensive work experience in the finance sector. Sourirajan started their career in 1991 at ICICI Bank, where they worked as an Assistant General Manager for 14 years. In 2005, they moved on to Haryana Aban Power Company Limited, where they served as a General Manager. During their time there, Sourirajan successfully arranged financing for the acquisition of a Norwegian listed company. In 2007, they joined Aban Offshore Limited as Vice President, where they completed the acquisition and integration of a large listed company from Norway. Sourirajan also raised equity capital and debt from domestic and overseas markets. Sourirajan eventually became Senior Vice President, overseeing tasks such as raising debt from overseas and domestic banks and completing refinancing of bank debt. Since January 2019, they have held the role of President-Finance at Aban Offshore Limited, representing management in investor and analyst calls.

Sourirajan Srinivasan has a diverse education background. Sourirajan started their education at the National Higher Secondary School in Mannargudi from 1978 to 1985, where they obtained their SSLC & Higher Secondary degree. Following this, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering, completing it between 1985 and 1989. Srinivasan continued their education by enrolling in the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Alongside their educational qualifications, Srinivasan has acquired additional certifications. In March 2021, they obtained the Insolvency Professional certification from the Insolvency And Bankruptcy Board of India. Additionally, in January 2021, they became a Professional Member of the Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI.
