Hania Dawood is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Global Practice Manager for Climate Finance & Economics at the World Bank Group, where responsibilities include leading a team to develop climate analytics, deliver advisory services on carbon pricing, and create innovative financing mechanisms for climate action in developing nations. In addition to this role, Hania holds board positions at the Climate Action Data Trust and ABANA, contributing to carbon credit data integration and strengthening financial ties between North America and the MENA region, respectively. Previous experience includes managerial positions at the International Finance Corporation, where Hania focused on climate strategy, investment pipelines in green cities, and overseeing transactions in renewable energy, as well as advisory roles to the World Bank Group's president on climate change and sustainable development.
