Julian Velev

Julian Velev is currently the Chief Data Officer at abartysHealth and also works as a Solutions Architect. With extensive experience in academia, Julian holds the position of Full Professor at the University of Puerto Rico and has previously worked as an Associate Professor. Additionally, Julian is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to their academic career, Julian served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Julian earned their PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds additional degrees in Philosophy, Economics, and Computer Science from various universities.
