Ahmad Gafarli

Ahmad Gafarli has significant experience in site reliability engineering and application performance monitoring, currently serving as the Head of Site Reliability Engineering CoE at ABB since October 2020. In this role, Ahmad partners with product, operations, and infrastructure teams to optimize application deployment using Dynatrace, creating interactive visualizations to enhance infrastructure health understanding. Prior to this, Ahmad held a position at ASB in the Settlements and Payment Systems Division, where responsibilities included working with SWIFT systems, managing money transfer documents, and supervising internal accounts. Ahmad's career also includes experiences in retail banking at AZER TURK BANK OJSC and as a specialist at TRUST S.S. LLC. Academically, Ahmad holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Business Informatics from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Universität Siegen.
