Timur Smishnikov

Timur Smishnikov is an experienced professional in risk management and loan underwriting, currently serving as the Team Leader of the Business Loans Underwriting Division at ABB since April 2022. Previously, Timur held the position of Senior Consultant in the Financial Risk Management division at PwC Russia, where responsibilities included credit decision and risk modeling, project management, and client engagement. With a background as a Senior Specialist in the Loan Underwriting division at The International Bank of Azerbaijan, Timur demonstrated expertise in complex industry analysis and internal credit rating model implementation. Earlier roles include Risk Management Specialist at Bank Respublika OJSC and Junior Loan Specialist, further underscoring a comprehensive understanding of risk assessment and loan management processes. Timur holds a Master of Science in Valuation and a Bachelor of Science in Price and Valuation from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
