Annette Bald

Annette Bald has over 17 years of experience in information systems and financial management, currently serving as the IS Engagement Manager and Department Head at ABB AG since October 2006. In this role, Annette leads the Information Systems department, ensuring that IS solutions meet business demands. Annette has also served as the Information Security Officer for the local division ELDS, where the implementation and initial certification of ISO 27001:2022 were achieved. As a Department Head of Project Controlling & Configurators, Annette developed and managed a team while overseeing project controlling for the Local Product Group "Primary Switchgear." Previous positions include Controller, responsible for month-end closing and reporting, and Global Trainee in Finance & Business Control. Educational qualifications include a Diplom Kauffrau from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht and executive programs from IMD and the University of St. Gallen. Additional studies have been completed at Arizona State University and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
