Benoît Gouatarbès

Benoît Gouatarbès is an experienced project manager currently working at ABB Marine Propulsion since April 2019, where the focus is on large Azipod® new build projects. Prior to joining ABB, Benoît held multiple roles at Akukon Ltd. from November 2001 to March 2019, including Branch Director, Project Manager, Senior Specialist, Team Leader, Internal Auditor, Consultant, and Quality Manager. Benoît also worked as an IT Consultant at Synap Nordic Oy and conducted research at Helsinki University of Technology. Benoît holds a M.Sc. in Sound and Vibration Studies from the University of Southampton, a B.Eng. with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, and a DUT in Génie Thermique & Énergie from Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour.
