Catie Shaw

Catie Shaw serves as the Head of Strategic Communications (AVP) in the Electrification division at ABB since March 2024. Prior to this role, Catie held various positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Director of Global Communications for Materials Science and Genetic Sciences, and was a Senior Communications Advisor. Catie's previous experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at Northeast - Western Energy Systems and several roles at GE, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Manager of Global Growth Marketing to Head of Paid Media. Catie's early career includes an internship in the Communications Leadership Development Program at GE, as well as a Marketing Strategy internship at Comcast Cable and tutoring at Syracuse University. Catie earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and attended Phillips Academy and Tsinghua University.
