Michael McMinn

Michael McMinn is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in product management and development across various industries. As Vice President of Engineering at ABB since December 2010, McMinn directs engineering and research activities focused on automation in the shipping container handling sector. Prior to this role, McMinn served as Product Manager at SAIC, managing security product development for the transportation industry. From 1995 to 2005, McMinn was the President of Zedec Vision Systems, successfully managing an engineering firm with notable clients. Earlier career highlights include positions as VP of Sales and Marketing at Inovision, Inc., and VP of Research & Development at Roche Image Analysis Systems, where McMinn established R&D teams and developed advanced microscopy imaging technology. McMinn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky.
