Thomas Wehrle

Thomas Wehrle, CFA, CPA, currently serves as Group Vice President of M&A Finance at ABB since May 2020. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Senior Director of M&A and Operations at Athora Holding Ltd. from July 2018 to May 2020, where the focus was on the European (Life) insurance market. Thomas's earlier experience includes significant roles at EY as a Senior Manager in EMEIA Financial Services Transactions, at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in several senior positions including Senior Projects Lead for Group M&A, and at GE Capital as Head of Productivity and Finance Manager. Thomas began a career at Citigroup as a Financial Analyst and gained initial experience with internships at PwC and IVC Venture Capital AG.
