Ken Payne

Chief Technologist at Abba Technologies

Ken Payne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ken started their career as a Systems Engineer at Data General in 1978 and worked there until 1991. From 1987 to 1999, they served as a Systems Analyst/Developer at Sandia National Laboratories. In 1997, they became the President of Spectra Research Institute, a position they held until 1999. Ken then joined EMC in 1999 as a Sr. Systems Engineer and later became an SE before leaving in 2002. In the same year, they joined Abba Technologies as the Chief Technologist and later became the CTO, a position they still hold.

Ken Payne attended Ryder Technical Institute from 1970 to 1972, where they obtained an Associate Degree in Electronics Technology. Following this, they attended Penn State University from 1972 to 1974, majoring in Computer Science.
