John Collins

John Collins is a Principal Human Factors Consultant at Abbott Risk Consulting, where they leverage extensive experience in Human Factors and Ergonomics. They previously served as a Human Factors Engineer at EDF Energy, providing technical advice on safety and operational issues, and as a Project Engineer at MHA Lighting, where they developed lighting schemes for high-profile projects. John holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Factors and Ergonomics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering, both from the University of Limerick. Prior to their current role, they worked as an Ergonomist at the Ergonomic Research Group, enhancing their expertise in the field.
