Global Marketing Franchise Head/ Director - Diagnostics

Ahmed Maged currently serves as the Global Marketing Franchise Head/Director for Diagnostics at Abbott since June 2021, leading a team of Global Marketing Directors focused on blood-borne diseases. Prior to this role, Ahmed held significant positions at AbbVie from May 2014 to June 2021, including Global Differentiation and Strategy Lead for SKYRIZI Dermatology and Business Unit Manager for Immunology and Dermatology. Experience also includes roles at Bayer as Regional Marketing for Oncology, Hematology, and Ophthalmology, and various positions at Roche, where responsibilities spanned leading franchises and marketing teams across North Africa. Early career experience as an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist was gained at both the Cairo-Cure Oncology Center and the National Cancer Institute. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Cairo University and is pursuing an MBA in Marketing from the Academy for Science and Technology (AAGSB).
