Ben Karel

Ben Karel has extensive experience in sales and management, having worked in various roles within the medical and industrial sectors. Karel served as Territory Manager at Koch Industries from June 1997 to August 1999, followed by a position as Peripheral Sales Representative at Boston Scientific from August 1999 to October 2007. Karel continued to develop expertise in sales and management at Medtronic, holding multiple positions including Aortic District Manager, US Sales Training Manager, and Aortic Sales Representative from October 2007 to December 2018. Currently, Karel is the Regional Sales Director at Abbott since December 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, obtained from 2001 to 2003, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Business/Corporate Communications from the University of Kansas, completed from 1993 to 1997.
