Bing Xu is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical hardware development and optical technologies. From 2006 to 2010, Bing worked as a Thin Film and Diffractive Optics Development Engineer at Plymouth Grating Laboratory, Inc., contributing to high energy laser applications in a fast-paced nanotechnology startup environment. Since November 2020, Bing has served as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Abbott, specializing in active implantable neuromodulation devices for pain management. Previous roles include Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Fellow at Boston University, Technical Consultant at Cyber Materials, LLC, and various positions at Advanced Bionics, where responsibilities included leading advanced technology developments in cochlear implant design and fabrication.
