David Cox has a strong background in mechanical engineering, with over 30 years of experience in the field. David began their career at Evans Analytical Group in 1989 as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked until 1994. David then moved on to Physical Electronics, where they served as a Mechanical Engineer until 1998. During their time at Physical Electronics, they also held a role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Life Technologies from 1998 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, David worked as a Staff Engineer Mechanical at Ion Torrent by Life Technologies, and then transitioned to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Following this, they joined Accel Biotech, inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, David has been working at 10X Genomics as a Sr. Staff Mechanical Engineer from 2018 to 2022, and they are currently with Mission Bio in the same role since April 2022.
