Brad Martinsen

Brad Martinsen has extensive experience in clinical research, scientific affairs, and education. From October 2013 to April 2016, Brad served as Director of Clinical Research and Scientific/Medical Affairs at Abbott, leading a team that produced 131 articles and 256 conference presentations. Prior to this, Brad held various managerial roles at Abbott and its predecessor, Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., achieving significant publication and presentation outcomes. In academia, Brad has contributed as an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer at the University of Minnesota for over two decades while also serving as an Assistant Professor, where leadership in research and education was prominent. Brad's earlier career included compliance supervision and trading management at Wells Fargo Advisors, and postdoctoral research at both the American Heart Association and California Institute of Technology. Brad holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and a BA in Biology from St. Olaf College.
