Clifford Park

Clifford Park is a Product Development Scientist at Abbott since March 2021, with a strong background in food science and microbiology. Previous experience includes serving as a Microbiology Technician at Mérieux NutriSciences, where responsibilities encompassed diagnosing microbiological tests for food safety and training new staff. As a Student Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, Clifford optimized antibiotic production through microbial fermentation and assessed the activity of compounds on pathogens. Further academic contributions include developing novel food ingredients and investigating dairy fermentation processes, alongside supervising laboratory courses and presenting research findings at various conferences. Clifford holds a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University.
