Colbie Chinowsky, PhD, is a Senior Scientist and Applications Development Scientist at ONI, where specialization includes product and assay development for super-resolution microscopy. At ONI, Colbie was instrumental in establishing the San Diego laboratory setup as the first member of the Applications Development team. Previous experience includes serving as a SciDEAL Fellow with the National Science Policy Network, focusing on LGBTQ+ representation in STEM, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, investigating cytoskeleton regulation and hearing loss. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Physics and Biology from Mount Holyoke College.
