Gustavo Lara

Gustavo Lara is an experienced IT executive currently serving as the Divisional CIO - DVP IT Nutrition at Abbott since December 2021, responsible for overseeing IT strategies within the Nutrition segment. In addition, Gustavo is the CEO and Founder of NOWY Consulting, leading a multiyear initiative for a $7B client to integrate new audit technology solutions across 143 countries since April 2021. Previously, Gustavo held senior IT roles at Adtalem Global Education, overseeing IT operations in Financial Services, and Lexico, providing consulting on digital transformation projects. Gustavo's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Kellogg Company, where responsibilities spanned global IT design and delivery and regional IT strategies for Latin America. Gustavo holds degrees in Business Administration and Management and Business Dynamics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
