Katia Ramos, MPH, possesses a diverse professional background with experience in writing, editing, data analysis, and health services. Early roles included editorial positions at The Odyssey and The Corsair, where over 50 articles were produced. At Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Katia analyzed managed-care organization performance, developed quality initiatives, and coordinated policy projects. Currently, Katia serves as a Bid Analyst at Abbott, conducting research for bids and collaborating with various departments to develop comprehensive proposals. Additionally, Katia teaches boxing and conditioning classes at TruFusion Austin. An academic history includes a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Print & Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College.
