Katja Tonsky

Katja Tonsky is an experienced professional in the animal care and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as a Global Biologics Program Manager at Abbott since August 2015. Prior to this role, Katja held positions at Alere Inc. as a Vivarium Manager/Senior Scientist, overseeing all operational aspects of the vivarium, and at Pfizer as a Vivarium Operations Manager, managing large animal facilities. Katja also participated in a Global Health Fellowship in Ghana with PharmAccess Foundation and has held supervisory roles at Johnson & Johnson and Vical, Inc., where leadership and development of training programs were key responsibilities. Katja's educational background includes a Master’s degree in British Literature from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Writing Studies from California State University San Marcos.
