Koji Nagata

Koji Nagata is a communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and corporate communications across the Asia/Pacific region. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs Japan at Abbott since November 2023, Koji oversees external and internal communications, marketing communications, media relations, and risk management to strengthen the Abbott brand in Japan. Prior to this role, Koji spent over a decade at United Airlines as the Director of Asia/Pacific Communications, where responsibilities included corporate communications across multiple countries. Koji's career began at Northwest Airlines as a Corporate Communications Manager for Japan, followed by positions at Continental Airlines, culminating in directorial roles focused on corporate communications in the region. Koji holds a B.A. in English from Dokkyo University and has earned certificates in International Business Communication and International Business Management from Temple University Japan.
