Matthew Ciantar

Matthew Ciantar is an International Finance and Risk Professional with extensive experience in audit services, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. They began their career at KPMG Malta, progressing from Assistant Manager to Senior Auditor while also gaining international experience during a rotation in the US. At Munich Re, Matthew took on the role of Accountant, responsible for internal and external financial reporting. They subsequently served as Senior Accountant and MLRO at Robus Group, Finance Director at Abbott, and European Financial Controller at Starr Insurance Companies. Currently, Matthew is the Finance Director and General Manager at Abbott, overseeing financial strategies and operations. Matthew's educational background includes degrees in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Malta.
