Ludel Maiello Mier

Ludel Maiello Mier has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2010, Ludel served as President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, where they implemented new programs and projects for the organization. Ludel then became a Student Representative for the Ateneo de Naga University Academic Council, where they contributed to the development of academic policies and programs.

In 2011, Ludel took on the role of Student Representative for the University Social Involvement Council, coordinating social involvement and outreach efforts. Ludel also served as President of the Supreme Student Government at Ateneo de Naga University, advocating for student rights and welfare.

Moving on to professional experiences, Ludel joined EY in 2013 as an Audit Associate, eventually working their way up to Assurance Manager/Director. In this role, Ludel managed engagement teams and delivered quality audits to clients. Ludel Maiello also served as an Audit Senior Associate, preparing audit reports, tax returns, and overseeing auditing projects.

In 2021, Ludel became the Chief Financial Officer of Kildekode, Inc., a Philippine software and game application company. Prior to this, Ludel worked at Trilogy as a Financial Controller, where they designed and implemented financial operations and process improvements for SAAS companies.

Most recently, Ludel joined Global Finance Teams as the Executive Vice President of Operations. In this role, they support a seamless onboarding process for Filipino accounting talents working for various US-based companies.

Outside of their professional experience, Ludel has also been involved in advocacy and public service. Ludel Maiello served as a Parliamentarian for the Philippine National Youth Parliament, drafting resolutions on important national issues affecting Filipino youth.

Overall, Ludel Maiello Mier has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in leadership roles, audit management, and process improvement. Ludel Maiello has also demonstrated a commitment to social involvement and youth advocacy.

Ludel Maiello Mier completed their Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from Ateneo de Naga University from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they studied Accountancy and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from the same university from 2004 to 2008, with a focus on General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Ludel Maiello Mier obtained several certifications. They became a Certified Public Accountant through the Philippine Professional Regulations Commission in June 2013. They also obtained a Certified International Bookkeeper certification from the National Institute of Accounting Technician in March 2012. Furthermore, they achieved a Certified Professional Proficiency in English certification from the Test of English for International Communication, ETS Preferred Associate, and Hopkins International Partners in April 2012. Lastly, they obtained a Lay Rescuer and First Aider certification from the Philippine National Red Cross in December 2011.
