Matthew Osegard

Matthew Osegard is an experienced professional in risk management and counterintelligence, currently serving as an Insider Risk Manager at Abbott Laboratories since November 2025, where responsibilities include developing and managing the Insider Risk program. Previously, Osegard had a distinguished career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation from May 2004 to September 2025, progressing from Special Agent to Unit Chief in the Counterintelligence Division, and leading critical cyber investigations and counterintelligence efforts. Osegard also served as a teacher in Oldham County Schools and was a Captain in the US Army's 1st Infantry Division. Academically, Osegard holds a Master’s degree in Homeland Security Studies from Tulane University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Teaching from Marquette University.
