Michael Cavanaugh

Michael Cavanaugh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP program management and IT leadership, currently serving as the SAP S/4 Program Director at Abbott since March 2013. In this role, Michael leads the S/4 HANA ERP transformation and provides global operational support across multiple divisions in 33 countries. Prior to this, Michael held various positions at Abbott, including Medical Device IT Program Director and IT Program Director for China. Michael's earlier career includes significant roles at General Mills, where contributions included managing global SAP implementations and overseeing strategic supply chain projects. Michael's educational background includes a Master of Science in Astronautics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
