Sabine Bendiek is Chief People & Operating Officer, Labor Relations Director, and Member of the Executive Board.

In her role, Sabine Bendiek together with her team drives and further accelerates SAP’s transformation to the cloud by bringing together what creates the essential fabric of our company’s successful transformation: our people agenda, our systems and processes as well as our capabilities to enable insights, innovation and change both for SAP internally and for our customers.   
Bendiek has more than 20 years of professional experience as an executive in the technology industry. Before joining SAP, she was Chairwoman of the Management Board at Microsoft Germany. Bendiek also held the position of Vice President and General Manager for EMC Germany and was responsible for Dell’s Small and Medium Business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. At the beginning of her career, she worked for McKinsey, Booz Allen as well as Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems.

Bendiek holds a master's degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim.

Florian Roth is the Chief Digital and Information Officer of SAP SE and reports directly to Sabine Bendiek, Chief People & Operating Officer, and member of the Executive Board. 

In his role as Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), Florian represents the Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) organization as a trusted advisor and is responsible for SAP’s IT strategy and its execution. Florian’s attention as CDIO is on IES performing as the digital backbone and strategic enabler, to innovate through technology and by that accelerating SAP’s cloud transformation and becoming an industry leading Intelligent Enterprise. 

Florian joined SAP in 2005 and held various executive and leadership positions across Finance, Service & Support and Global Business Operations, prior to his appointment in his current role. Being a thought leader in the field of digital transformation, Florian is a frequent keynote speaker and active advisor to political institutions.

Michael Golz is the SVP, CIO - Americas at SAP. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining SAP, they were the Head of Information Management for [OTTO](/org/otto-portland)'s environmental services division and its 100+ subsidiaries. Michael has a wealth of experience leading large teams and organizations and has a proven track record of success in the IT field.

Russell brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, management, consulting and technology to his new role. As president of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), he was responsible for SAP's extensive business growth and presence expansion in the APJ region for the past three years. Under his leadership, APJ has evolved to become one of SAP's fastest-growing cloud markets globally. He has held several senior leadership positions across SAP and joined SAP from IBM in 2010. The Australian national, 47, has been appointed to the Executive Board for a three-year term effective February 1. Russell will continue to evolve SAP's sales and services strategy — always putting customer success first and accelerating the company's collaboration with the ecosystem.

Johannes Buerkle has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Johannes began their career as an Application Consultant for Agfa, where they were responsible for customer demo, training, support and process consulting in the graphic arts industry. Johannes then moved to .riess, where they were Datacenter Account Manager and responsible for Datacenter solution sales to SMB customers and corporate customers. In 2003, they joined [Computacenter](/org/computacenter) as a Datacenter / Key-Account Manager, specializing in datacenter sales to large scale corporate customers. Johannes managed Services Sales and Process consulting for IT supply chain and lifecycle solutions and had key account responsibility for SAP. In 2009, they joined SAP as Senior Manager of Investor Relations.

James Dymond is currently the Investor Relations Manager, ESG at SAP. James has over 10 years of experience in the corporate world, holding various positions in Human Resources and Sales. 

James started their career at DaimlerChrysler Management Consulting as a Project Assistant. In this role, they supported a project on human resources in China for the strategic HR department. This included preparing strategic presentations for executive management and the DaimlerChrysler Executive Board. 

After DaimlerChrysler, James moved on to the [Berlitz Corporation](/org/berlitz-corporation) where they became the Study Abroad Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated the global Berlitz Study Abroad program. Their responsibilities included collecting monthly sales statistics, developing content for the BSA section of the Berlitz website, establishing and maintaining contact with external sales agents by representing BSA at travel and business conventions, and sales of BSA programs to private customers. 

In their current role as Investor Relations Manager, ESG at SAP, James is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of SAP’s investor relations program. This includes communicating with investors, analysts, and rating agencies; managing investor events; and developing and executing SAP’s capital markets strategy.

Sebastian Wieczorek is the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence Technology at SAP. Peter Maier is the current President of Industries & Customer Advisory at SAP. Prior to this, they were the General Manager SAP Industries from June 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were globally responsible for the SAP business with companies and organizations in various industries, such as Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, High Tech, Industrial Machinery and Components, Chemicals, Defense & Security, Mill Products & Mining, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Public Sector, and Travel & Transportation.

Under their leadership, the team successfully delivered intelligent solutions that enable customers to sustainably optimize and transform their businesses. Peter also drove the SAP Roadmaps program that provides customers with clear guidance on how to use the intelligent suite and SAP digital platform – both powered by SAP’s intelligent technologies.

In order to scale the SAP guidance for customers and help them become intelligent enterprises, they oversaw the design and delivery of the award-winning SAP Transformation Navigator – a free self-service tool available to customers and SAP partners.

Sanjay Almeida is the Chief Product Officer of Intelligent Spend Management at SAP. Sanjay has extensive experience in product strategy, product management, GTM, and engineering. Sanjay has previously worked at Sage as an Executive Committee member and Chief Product & Delivery Officer (CPO/CPDO), and at SAP as SVP & Chief Product Officer, SAP Ariba Network Solutions. At Sage, they led a £1.7bn+ portfolio and 2,500+ colleagues across 23 countries. Sanjay was responsible for the strategy, product management & marketing, engineering and delivery of Sage’s full suite of products and services. At SAP, they were responsible for leading product strategy, product/solution management, GTM, and engineering for the world’s largest B2B marketplace and commerce network. Sanjay has also been responsible for launching new industry leading products, such as Supply Chain Collaboration, Supplier Management, B2B Payments & Financing, and next generation Supplier Portal. Kathleen Marzahl is the Senior Vice President, Operations | Chief of Staff at [SAP Concur](/org/concur-technologies). Kathleen is responsible for driving organizational excellence and operating efficiency across our global technology team. Kathleen has established an engineering enablement organization with Lean Six Sigma principles, focused on optimization of the product development life-cycle. Kathleen has also established Rhythm of the Business (RoB), to drive increased predictability and transparency in the day to day priorities.

Karsten Schmidt is currently the CTO of AI & ML at SAP. Karsten has a long and varied history in the field of computer science, with a focus on databases and information systems. Karsten has worked as a doctoral candidate at the University of Kaiserslautern, as well as a scientific staff member researching native XML DBMSs, storage, indexing, query processing, self-tuning, and energy-efficiency. In September 2017, they became the Head of Conversational AI at the Innovation Center of SAP SE in Germany. In this role, they are responsible for research direction, NLU product architecture, product integration and future direction. Prior to their work at SAP, Karsten was a developer and IT architect at SEGU Systemelektrik GmbH from October 2002 to June 2006.

Ulrike Kleifeld has been with SAP since 2000, starting as a Solution Management Expert. In this role, they were responsible for the roll-in and roll-out of new solutions, including Tax & Revenue Management, Student Accounting, Grants Management, Expenditure Certification for EU Regional Funds, Social Services, and Citizen Services. Ulrike received praise from pilot customers for their work on the Expenditure Certification solution, which reduced the time to create reports to the EU from 2 weeks to a few hours.

In January 2011, Kleifeld became the Global Operations Lead for Public Services. In this role, they were responsible for heading up the Operations team and acting as Chief of Staff and Internal Strategy Consultant. Ulrike also served as Innovation Captain, leading the way in introducing new innovations to the public sector.

In September 2013, Kleifeld was promoted to Chief Innovation Officer, Global Public Services. In this role, they are responsible for leading the innovation efforts for SAP's public sector solutions. Under their leadership, SAP has introduced many new innovative solutions to the public sector, including the SAP Leonardo platform and the SAP Cloud Platform.

Patrick Grofig is the COO of SAP Labs Network at SAP. Patrick has been with the company since August 2010, working their way up from a working student to their current position. Prior to joining SAP, Patrick interned at Demag Cranes & Components in their IT Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and IT departments. Patrick's experience and dedication to their work at SAP has led him to their current role as COO of the SAP Labs Network. In this position, they are responsible for the overall operation of the network and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Zoltán Albrecht is a Program Member of Sovereign Cloud at SAP. Zoltán has over 15 years of experience in software development and data science. 

Zoltán started their career as a physicist at the [Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe](/org/stadtisches-klinikum-karlsruhe-ggmbh) gGmbH, where they focused on using linear accelerators for external beam radiation treatments for cancer patients. Zoltán then joined [CERN](/org/cern) as a data scientist, where they were responsible for the analysis of excited B mesons. During their time at [CERN](/org/cern), they developed modern statistical methods and created NeuroBayes, a predictive engine that forecasts the probability density of every event.

In July 2003, Albrecht joined SAP as a Development Architect for SAP Business Warehouse. Zoltán worked on analytics interfaces and helped SAP customers to make better use of their data. In July 2015, they left SAP to join Sovereign Cloud, where they are responsible for helping customers migrate to the cloud.

Christian Freytag is the SVP, Head of Technology, Innovation & Data - SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions at SAP. Christian has over 15 years of experience in management consulting and IT with a focus on finance and controlling.

Christian started their career as a consultant with Kullen Müller Zinser in 2005. Christian then moved to [Q_PERIOR](/org/q-perior) in 2007 where they were a senior consultant specializing in SAP financials implementations. In 2010, they became a project manager with Schwarz Finanz und Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG, working on SAP financials projects.

In their current role at SAP, Christian is responsible for leading the technology, innovation and data strategy for the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions business unit. Christian is passionate about helping companies transform their businesses with technology and believes that data is a key enabler of this transformation.

Michael Sell is the Chief Transformation Officer of SAP Artificial Intelligence at SAP. Michael has been with the company since 2004, starting as an HR Director. In 2010, they were promoted to Executive Director and has been responsible for supporting SAP's Executive Board member and CTO, Vishal Sikka, and their global organization spread across 15+ locations.

Khan is responsible for the global development, product and solution management of the company’s entire database, data management and analytics portfolio. He focuses on ensuring that SAP continues to innovate and lead in the database and analytics space, powering SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), to help customers turn data into actionable business insights. Previously White was responsible for product marketing for Microsoft Office 365 during the transition to the cloud. White will be based in the United States and has been appointed to the Executive Board for a three-year-term effective March 1. Luka Mucic is a member of the Executive Board and chief financial officer (CFO) of SAP SE. His responsibilities include the areas of finance and administration and he has served in this function since July 2014.
