Michael Crowe

Michael Crowe is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Abbott Vascular. Michael has over 20 years of experience in global operations, product development, and program management.

Crowe began their career at Johnson & Johnson in August 2000 as the General Manager of Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. In December 2002, they were promoted to Managing Director/Vice President of Global Operations for LifeScan, a division of Johnson & Johnson. Michael held this position for five years before moving to Covidien Surgical Devices in December 2008 as the Vice President of Global Operations.

At Covidien, Crowe was responsible for leading the full supply chain for a $3 billion surgical product company with seven global facilities and 6,000 employees. Michael oversaw the Program Management Office and led new product development activity in a dynamic product leadership environment. In three years, they launched 30 new products that accounted for $500 million in annual revenues. Michael delivered 4-5% productivity each year and launched an asset reconfiguration project that significantly improved operating margins. Overall, their financial results added more than 3 points of margin in two years to the division's results.

In August 2007, Crowe moved to Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Group as the Vice President of Operations Improvement. Michael held this position for one year before returning to Covidien in December 2008 as the Vice President of Global Operations.

Crowe has been with Abbott Vascular since September 2011 and currently serves as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations.

Michael Crowe has an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville. Michael is currently a field sales manager at Northwestern University.
