Michael Filippi

Michael Filippi is a passionate leader and pragmatic MedTech expert with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of R&D at Abbott, they oversee the Acute Mechanical Circulatory Support division and lead a multidisciplinary team in new product introductions. Michael previously held significant roles at companies such as Zimmer, BIOTRONIK, and Nobel Biocare, where they contributed to various large-scale projects and innovations within the medical technology field. They earned an Executive MBA in Innovation Management from Bern University of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Zurich University of Applied Science.
