Nils Peter Borgstrom

Nils Peter Borgstrom is a Principal Clinical Research Scientist at Abbott, where they have held several positions, including Senior Field Clinical Engineer and Senior Clinical Research Scientist. Nils began their academic journey at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, followed by a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. They gained early research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at UCLA, focusing on algorithm development for robotic systems, and later contributed to clinical trial execution and analytics during their PhD candidacy.
